Dave Yardy, Scott Trick and Dave Tacosik had some good sailing Wednesday April 8th at Voice of America (VOA).  The winds were steady and from the West.  Not too cold at first but since we got a late start and the sun was going down we were ready to stop after 6 races with all three of us getting at least one first place.

We will try to sail again next wed the 15th as well as the 22nd …weather permitting.

Recently, we had a gathering of members to discussion the 2009 sailing season.  It was great to see everyone after the long winter season.  Thanks Dave T for your hospitality.

 News..

    - VOA Metro Park will be our venue for the season (see map and directions http://regatta1.com/cmyc/location.php)

    - Sailing would be every other Wednesday (6pm) weather permitting

    - We will set up a Spring, Summer, and Fall series and score as in previous years.  Must have a three boat minimum to constitute a race.

    - We agree to attend the event at Ceasar’s Creek so as to promote the sport/hobby.  Thanks for the invite Scott.

    - Season would commence April 7th (weather permitting)
